Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about nodus, Digital Workers and nodus OS: what they are, how they work, how they are deployed and how to get started.
What is nodus?
nodus helps companies bring Digital Workers into their teams. We combine our own intelligence layer (nodus OS) with the knowledge of sector experts to create digital capacity where your organisation needs it, always under human control.
What is a Digital Worker?
A Digital Worker is a digital employee designed to carry out a specific function inside the company, working alongside people to increase the team’s capacity. It keeps context and memory of the work, fits into real processes and escalates to a person when there are doubts, exceptions or relevant decisions.
How is it different from a chatbot or an automation?
A chatbot answers; a Digital Worker works. It is not a generic chatbot, a rigid automation or unsupervised AI: it understands business context, collaborates with the team, learns with use and always acts under human control. And it does not replace anyone: it frees up time, reduces workload and improves the team’s focus.
What is nodus OS and why is it needed?
nodus OS is the operational intelligence layer that connects people, Digital Workers and systems. It provides shared memory and context, coordination between digital workers, clear rules, governance and traceability. It is installed on top of your current organisation: it does not replace your tools or force you to change how you work — it connects them, orders them and adds capacity.
Do Digital Workers make decisions on their own?
No. Every action follows clear rules and everything is logged: what was done, when and on what basis, with no black boxes. When there are doubts, exceptions or relevant decisions, control always escalates to a person.
Which tools and systems do they integrate with?
With the ones you already use: email, messaging and tickets, CRM, ERP, Drive and documentation, field tools, and more. nodus OS acts as a connection layer over your current systems, with no migration required.
What about security and my data?
We process data in accordance with the GDPR and Spanish LOPDGDD, applying technical and organisational measures proportionate to the risk. Access to and transfers of data to third parties are carried out with appropriate contractual safeguards. You can find more detail in our Privacy Policy.
What does the deployment process look like?
We work in 5 phases to reduce risk and create results from the start: 1) Initial analysis, 2) Proof of concept (POC), 3) First Digital Worker live, 4) First scale-up and 5) Scale-up and consolidation. We don’t deploy everything at once: we support your company step by step.
How long until we see results?
We start with a first Digital Worker in a controlled environment (POC) to validate fit and measure real results with minimal risk. Impact is usually visible from the real use of the first Digital Worker and grows as areas are replicated and connected.
Do I need to change my tools or the way I work?
No. nodus OS is installed on top of your current organisation and respects how you work today. The goal is to add capacity and order, not to reinvent your operations.
What Digital Worker profiles are available?
There are specialised profiles —customer service, back office and administration, sales, operations and field, management and coordination, and internal knowledge— plus custom Digital Workers when your company has a role, process or need that does not fit any standard profile.
What kind of companies is it for?
For companies of different sizes and sectors that need more capacity without adding pressure on the team. We define the highest-impact Digital Workers based on your processes, information flows and bottlenecks.
How do I get started?
Tell us your challenge and we will suggest where to start. The usual path is an initial analysis followed by a scoped proof of concept.
